On Friday the 8th of February 2019 we said farewell, in true Stevie style, to the body of the man who was Steve Baker.
There was singing, wellies, animal costumes, police officers, the theme tunes to many a bad TV show, and a whole load of G’n’Ts… Pretty much the only thing missing was a shed.
During the wake we collected stories of Steve from the people who loved him which we will, at some point, share.
For now though, and for Stevie’s 73rd Birthday (30th November 2019) – during which we’ll be engaged in the very apt task of doing some tree planting – we’ve collected together the speeches from the service (linked below).
